deconex 24 FORTE is universally applied in laboratories to remove very resistant organic and inorganic residues and contamination from laboratory glass and reusable laboratory material.

deconex 24 FORTE is being applied in:

Properties

deconex 24 FORTE is a highly alkaline special cleaning powder with excellent dirt-removing and dispersing properties. The product‘s high alkalinity enables the removal of very resistant contamination. Materials and washing machines are protected by the integrated corrosion inhibitor.

The completely residue-free cleaning of laboratory glass and reusable material is an important prerequisite for the successful application of a cleaner in analytical-, synthesis- and cell culture laboratories.

deconex 24 FORTE effectively removes:

?. dried and burnt-in synthesis-residues from organic reactions (e.g. polymers), distillation residues, dried greases and oils, colour residues, varnish and pigments.

Ingredients

Alkalis, complexing agents, corrosion inhibitor, organic chlorine donor

Dosage

The optimum dosage depends mainly on the hardness of the water and the nature of the contamination. In principle, the use ofsoftened feedwater improves the cleaning results. Consequently, the dosage can be reduced.

Information on use

Generally, an increase of the temperature leads to a reduction of the cleaning process time. According to a rule of thumb, raising the temperature by 10 °C, cuts the cleaning process time in half, and vice versa.

Further, we recommend you:

. a proper loading of washing goods (avoid overloading) and

. the use of softened or demineralized water for final rinsing.

Neutralization

For neutralization of alkaline residues, an acidic rinse should always follow the cleaning steps. deconex 26 MINERALACID,deconex 26 PLUS respectively, as neutralizer in combination with deconex 24 FORTE is recommended. Please ask for the corresponding data sheets.
